I build user-centered products that drive growth, engagement, and scale.
Key Overview

Hi, I’m Tim Collins, a Product & Growth expert with over 7 years of experience taking ideas from concept to market. My expertise spans the product-life cycle, from UI/UX design and product management to go-to-market execution. With a natural affinity for all things tech, I focus on SaaS-based products across AI and emerging tech sectors.
My journey hasn’t followed the typical career path, but that’s exactly what has shaped my approach to product and growth. From scaling an EdTech startup to leading AI-driven SaaS growth, and even taking a career break as a ski instructor, each experience has strengthened my ability to adapt, innovate, and build user-centric solutions. Whether launching new products, optimising growth strategies, or exploring emerging tech, I thrive at the intersection of business, design, and technology - always looking for the next challenge to solve.
After years of fast-paced growth roles, I took a step back to pursue a personal goal—becoming a ski instructor in Switzerland. While spending time on the slopes, I continue to stay engaged in product innovation, AI projects, and new opportunities in the SaaS space. This break has given me a fresh perspective, reinforcing my passion for building products that create real impact.
I joined InGrid as a Consultant to support a business transformation project advising and working on go-to-market strategies including product and market positioning.
I then stayed with O3ai and oversaw the development and launch of a SaaS version of the company's flagship enterprise offering. I was responsible for leading cross-functional teams, working at the intersection of data, design, and business strategy, driving impactful results that helped scale the platform and open new market opportunities.
Wanting to apply my growth and product expertise in a new environment, I joined O3ai, an AI-driven SaaS company in the Industry 4.0 space. Here, I focused on optimising go-to-market strategy, increasing lead generation and conversion-rate optimisation.
Fascinated by my work in the Government sectors, I sought to broaden my horizons by studying International Relations & Political Science. During this time, I focused on global trade, environmental policy, transnational issues and data analysis - achieving 2.1 Upper Second-Class Honors and earning recognition for highest academic performance.
I led the creation of a UK-based EdTech startup that focused on school-family engagement and data integration. I led the product development, secured initial funding and designed the growth strategy that saw the platform scaled to more than 30,000 users across 5 markets before it was acquired by one of our biggest clients.
Following my start in the Education Technology sector, I joined University College London's (UCL) Institute of Education on a research placement in Applied AI. My research topic looked at how the use of AI could better facilitate engagement among non-speaking English families within the British education sector.
My first major role, was in Product Management for an exciting Climate Change Education Platform co-created in a private-sector partnership with the United Nations. My role was to lead the development and scaling of the platform within the education sector, working closly with stakeholders across Government, Education and Technical teams. During my tenure, I scaled the platform to more than 200,000 users across 30 markets and facilitated Government talks and partnerships internationally.
I began my career path with an academic background in Engineering and Business. Engineering allowed me to learn how to look at problems and solutions in a different way, whilst a focus on business disciplines enabled me to embrace a love of product-development and business growth. Alongside my studies, I led the school's F24 Racing Team and Student Investor club.
When I’m not working on product strategy or growth experiments, you’ll likely find me on the slopes skiing, exploring new hiking trails, or tinkering with side projects in AI & automation. I’m passionate about traveling, experiencing new cultures, and constantly learning - whether it’s picking up a new language or diving into the latest trends in emerging tech. Also, if you ever want to chat about great coffee spots or the best ski resorts in Switzerland, I’m all in! ☕🏔
